My experience in the Mighty Vine fitness gym has been great for me physically and mentally. The staff mostly is very helpful and courteous to me. Just a very warm family environment.

Take advantage of the Fitness Center at IKRON. Convenient location. Formidable equipment. Experienced and knowledgeable staff. The friendliness of the staff is a major boost for one’s wellbeing and positive outlook. I have attended on a regular basis for 10 years.

Dan here, just wanted to speak on the Mighty Vine! Great gym overall. I don't use no other parts of the facility but I get a great chance to utilize the equipment that IKRON provides for the public. Best price in the city that I utilize weekly. Thanks a lot!

- Dan C.

SINCE 1989

Our roots go back to the IKRON Self-Government group, who was asked to generate unique ideas of services that may benefit individuals with mental health barriers. The group voted unanimously to plan and develop a fitness facility with a focus on helping individuals struggling with physical health symptoms, such as weight gain, poor diet, and high blood pressure. The group wrote a proposal to the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and received a grant award to create a wellness center. The center, originally called the IKRON Wellness Club, received non-profit 501(c)(3) status. After one year, their Board of Trustees successfully obtained a contract from the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board to continue wellness services for the local mental health community. In 1996, the Board changed the center's name to the Mighty Vine Wellness Club.
